In 2007, Taranaki Prenail and Truss, a small local frame and truss manufacturer, was sold to one of its key employees, Keith Kui, and his children.
In 2017, Keith's two sons Rohan and Johnathan took over the business and Jonathan moved down to Marton and set up a second manufacturing plant there.
2017 also saw the end of the Taranaki Prenail and Truss when Rohan and Jonathan rebranded the business to Titan Precut. By this time the business had two trucks delivering pre-nailed frames and trusses from Manawatu and Waikato.
In 2018, Rohan and Jonathan sold Titan Precut to Steve Prestidge from Presco and it became the latest division of Presco: Presco Prenail. Steve's son, Oliver Prestidge, who apprenticed as a builder, took over the management of the business alongside Rohan and Johnny.
Presco Prenail Marton moves to Feilding. The Hawera team moves into a purpose-built shed, with fully automated saws.
